Acupuncture Services Now Offered in Menomonie

MENOMONIE, Wis. — Acupuncture services are now available at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie. This new service is provided by Travis Young, licensed acupuncturist, at the Center for Prevention and Physical Rehabilitation.

“I am excited to be able to offer this service locally for people in our community who are suffering and searching for options,” says Young. This treatment, which is an ancient form of traditional Chinese medicine typically used to treat pain, is commonly used to relieve the symptoms of some diseases and conditions including headaches, migraines, labor pain, low back pain, menstrual cramps, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, dental pain, tennis elbow and chemotherapy-induced nausea.
