Symposium at U. Discusses Medical
Research
Collaboration between Minnesota and China
Dr. Changzhen Gong has been
invited to participate in a panel presentation at the University of Minnesota on
the topic of medical research collaboration between Minnesota and China. This
panel discussion is part of a year-long series of events celebrating the
100-year anniversary of the relationship between China and the University of
Minnesota. The celebration will peak on Tuesday, April 22, with the occurrence
of the China 100 Symposium, featuring six panel presentations/discussions. The symposium is
entitled “University
of Minnesota and China: Looking Forward to the Next Century.” Immediately after
the panel discussions, former U.S. ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, will present the annual Bob and
Kim Griffin Lecture, “Building US-China Bridge.” AAAOM students
who are interested in attending this event may register for tickets by visiting

Tickets are free, but availability is limited. The event will be held at
McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
