The following pairs are highlighted in Professor Wang Ju-Yi’s Applied Channel Theory in Chinese Medicine:
Taiyuan (LU 9) and Taibai (SP 3) vs Bai Zhu and Cang Zhu for strengthening spleen qi to transform dampness.
Chize (LU 5) and Fuliu (KI 7) vs. Shao Yao, Sheng Di Huang and Yi Yi Ren for benefiting fluids to support spleen yin.
Chi ze (LU 5) and Yinlingquan (SP 9) vs. Fu Ling and Zhu Ling for regulating tai yin qi dynamic.
